ACCOMODATION

Accommodation is offered in:

9 maisonette-style apartments: (sleeping 4-5 people) all south-facing, with pool view and partial sea views.
1 bangalow: (sleeping up to 3 people) tucked away in a secluded corner of the property.

All rooms are furnished in simple classic Mediterranean style, suitable for easy summer living.

The Apartments (4-5 persons)

Access to each unit is by independent external staircase at the rear side of the building, leading to the upper level, which comprises open plan kitchen/dining area and spacious sitting area with two built-in sofa beds. The two areas on a split level connected by five steps. Balcony doors from the sitting room lead out onto large covered balcony with partial sea views, overlooking the swimming pool.

An internal staircase leads down to the lower level, which has two twin bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, and one bathroom. Balcony doors from the one bedroom lead out onto a private patio, covered with pergola for shade and providing access to the gardens and the swimming pool.

The bungalow (max. 3 persons)

This is a detached, ground floor unit, Located in a quiet corner within the olive grove behind the apartments. It comprises two twin bedrooms, one bathroom, separate kitchen with dining area and covered patio.

INTRODUCTION

Lydra is a small complex of spacious, beautifully designed apartmets offering a high standart of self-catering accommodation in an attractive, friendly and pleasant environment. Its excelent location offers both tranquility and lots of recreational opportunities.

The buildings are of traditional Corfiot architecture, set within a fenced areas of 4.500 sq.m., amid lovely, well-tendet gardens laid to lawn, with many flowers and trees including nature olive and palm trees.

LOCATION

The complex is situated in the heart of the "island of Gerekos", the name given to the tip of Gouvia Bay towards Kontokali, a picturesque, wooded peninsula on the east coast, north of Corfu Town.

Ideally located only a few steps from the sandy beach of Kontokali, the properly is set within a peaceful area full of natural beauty, excellent for exploring on foot, and near all amenities.

There is a mini-market next to the complex and nearby resorts of Kontokali and Gouvia offer a full range of facilities. One of Greece's largest marinas can be found here, as well as some of the most famous fish tavernas of the island, many restaurants, bars and a variety of shops.

The nearest bus stop is 600 metres away, being an easy walk on level road. The regular municipal bus service allows for easy access to the centre of Corfu Town as well as to the many resorts and beaches of he northeast coast.
